Not only is the ARTC a great place to do business, CTI also strives to make sound environmental choices in operating the building. In 2006, the ARTC received the BOMA Go Green Certification in recognition for our efforts to reduce energy consumption and operating costs, and improve waste management. BOMA Go Green is a comprehensive, quality program that recognizes buildings like the ARTC, where environmental best practices have been implemented into the operations. It also fosters environmental consciousness in the commercial building industry. |

In addition to receiving Go Green certification, the ARTC is also home to Alberta’s EcoRoof “Green” Roof Initiative. The roof structure was developed in conjunction with several partners to demonstrate the environmental advantages of green roof technology and to serve as a research site for a variety of initiatives.
